The City of Yellowknife wishes to retrofit the four upstairs, public washrooms in the Curling Club to meet the National Building Code 2020 with precedent from CSA B651-18 Accessible Design for the Built Environment Standard. The project will include all the planning, code review, permits, construction and monitoring of the project for compliance and safety. The intention is to provide modern tiles, amenities and design to completely update the areas as well as meet all code requirements. The washrooms are to be barrier free, private rooms or with stalls that are completely private and still meet the standards listed above.
