The City of Yellowknife (the City) is seeking proposals from professional organizations with comprehensive experience in wildfire protection equipment, values protection operations, and water supply delivery for wildfire operations.  The City has developed community wildfire plans for risk assessment, values protection, and interface response, in addition to an established base operational resource inventory.  The intent of this proposal is to analyze the existing documents and resources to deliver on the procurement, inventory, maintenance, and records management to meet the City’s established Value Protection Pre-Plan.

The City’s Value Protection Pre-Plan is a prevention and mitigation state-of-practice for water delivery systems (sprinklers) to be used in the wildland-urban interface.
